From Brother to Brother
After refining his chemical free techniques, Matthew passed Annapolis Bee Removal to his twin brother John who now owns and operates the company. Matthew is now focused on a plant access non-profit he directs called Joy Grows .

John and Matthew were raised on an organic produce farm in Southern Anne Arundel County where they learned to value chemical free ecological partnership and were familiarized with beekeeping (and stinging insects).
Matthew practiced beekeeping and removals with Stefano Bregulio, who kept hives on the farm and is an expert in removing honey bee colonies from structures.
In the summer months, John directs ABR’s team of Removal Experts, a group of young men from the Annapolis area, dedicated to removing stinging insect nests without the use of chemicals.
We drive up to an hour from Annapolis for jobs and further or special requests. We aim to provide same day service, during peak season sometimes next day service.
In our 5th year of operation, John is solidifying ABR as an organization, partnering with property management organizations and neighborhood associations while spreading the word on how we serve our community.
